10 Random Burning Questions

The following are rhetorical questions, but feel free to answer them:

10) During the porn version of the Oscars, has anyone ever cried during an acceptance speech? Have they ever given a lifetime achievement award?

9) Has crime in D.C. decreased since the Washington Bullets changed its name to the Wizards?

8) Who likes Facebook more: college co-eds, stay at home moms, stalkers, or the human resources department at your company?

7) Was “COPS” the first modern-day reality TV show?

6) If Fig Newtons are truly fruit and cake – and not cookies – why are they in the cookie aisle in the grocery store?

5) Why does MLB’s National League Central division have 6 teams while the American League West has 4 teams (and each other division has 5 teams)? Don’t tell me it’s all about geography because the St. Louis Rams are in the NFC West in the NFL.

4) Why does biweekly mean “every two weeks” while biannual means “twice a year”?

3) Who is the dead man that discontinued Hi-C Ecto Cooler?

2) Why didn’t Teen Wolf’s “condition” appear until age 17 and, more importantly, why didn’t he play college hoops?

1) What did Neil Patrick Harris do between March 24, 1993 (the last episode of “Doogie Howser, M.D.”) and September 19, 2005 (the first episode of “How I Met Your Mother”)?

Re: your #1 question. Even overlooking his critical role as the token white guy (Lance) in Undercover Brother, how can you forget the cinematic masterpiece of Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle?

NPH was great in Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle -- that role really put him back on the map. I would go as far as to say that but for Harold & Kumar, he would not have landed the role of Barney Stinson. Harold & Kumar came out in 2004 so perhaps the real questions is what did NPH do between 1993 and 2004?

Question 11?

What did Neal Willetts do on his daily visits to the Lower School from 1997-2001?

Just wanted to comment on Question 7. My roommate and I were talking about this very same thing last week and we decided that the it is either COPS or Rescue 911.

As for the Ecto-Cooler question, I heard that due to the high volume of fan mail over the years praising its taste Hi-C changed the name of it to Ambrosia.

Travis,

I also heard that Juicy Juice stole the recipe for Ecto Cooler and renamed it "Nectar of the Gods."
